  • What is Aromatherapy?

    At the heart of our products lies a certainty: the power of Essential Oils.
    It is at the very origin of Aromatherapy, the art of subtly combining aromatic essences naturally derived from plants.
    The combination of these precious concentrates with powerful active ingredients, capable of meeting the precise needs of the skin, led to the unique know-how of DECLÉOR, an expert cosmetic Aromatherapy brand for several decades: over 35 years of research have allowed us to select 38 Essential Oils used in 150 formulations.

  • Are your final products tested on animals?

    No, DECLÉOR products are not tested on animals. For each new product, we proceed with skin tolerance and effectiveness tests. DECLÉOR uses two alternative experiment methods to evaluate tolerance: tests on cellular cultures and use tests with a panel and a precise protocol. These tests are carried out on volunteers by specialised independent laboratories and under medical supervision for the evaluation of the effectiveness tests.

  • How long can I keep my product once it is opened?

    The “period of validity after opening” is indicated on the boxes.
    This period is indicated in number of months. This is the period during which the product must be used once it has been opened. This time period is valid as long as the product is preserved in normal storage conditions and not exposed to extreme temperatures.
    For example, “12 M” signifies that we do not recommend use of the product 12 months after it has been opened. The number of months indicated for the “period of validity after opening” varies according to the type of cosmetic product.
    In particular, we recommend not using your suncare products the following year.
